Hi Zak,

Thanks for the support post.

Yes, it sounds like the wrong database is opening than the one you're expecting. Select Help > About and click on 'Database' to see the one iMagic Inventory is opening.

You can change which database is used via the 'Network Administration Utility' (under the Windows Start menu).

For reference, the database contains all your inventory, invoice, customer details, etc.

Regards, John

Ok so looks like the users are going to

Sandra- C:\Users\sbennett\Documents\iMagic Inventory\Database\db.mdb
Briana- C:\Users\Brianaa\Documents\iMagic Inventory\Database\db.mdb

Sandra is not able to find any info in her Imagic but Briana can, they are both say Database version 55

Thanks, Zak

Are they wanting to share the same database? Usually, you'd have one central database for all users and they would each share that one.

Are there just two users in total?

Yes I believe that is how it was setup in the past was they were all using the same Database but now it looks like they are using one on each user account but they should all be on the same database.

Thanks, Zak

To share a central database you'd want to decide on which of them you want to be the main central database, share that folder on the network then have the others users connect to it. You can find steps on the process here:
