Jon,

I have a friend who manages a motel and she said her program has a way to block a guest who has been unruly from reserving a room again. Would it be possible for you to add that feature to imagic? Please let me know!

Thank you,
Pauli

Hi Pauli,

Thanks for the post.

Yes, you can apply a banned status to guests currently. To set up, select Configure > Advanced > Customer Fields. Then check the 'Restricted Status'. Click OK to save.

Then when you make a room booking you can mark a guest's restricted status for the hotel (on Step 3 - Customer) to either OK, Restricted or Banned. You can also include any applicable notes. Then should the front desk attempt to book with that customer again a notification will pop-up with the details a decision can then be made as to accept or reject the booking.

Regards, John

I was wondering if there was a way to prohibit them from booking online or to flag their name when we type it in so the reservation cannot be completed.

Hi Pauli,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, the front desk warning comes up when you try to add that customer into a new hotel booking on Step 3 - Customer.

Regards, John
