I need to block off rooms so they aren’t available. How do I do that?
Thanks,

Hi Joshua,
Thanks for the post.
Probably the easiest option would be to create a 'booking status' that indicated the reason why the room was unavailable (ie renovation), then make a booking and assign that booking status. This would have the effect of making the room unavailable and being able to see the reason why. You can set the 'charge' to zero, so as not to cause issues with the reports.
Another option would be to use the Maintenance and Cleaning system. So first enable it under - Configure > Advanced > Maintenance and Cleaning. Enable the option. Then select from the new Maintenance menu that appears. You can then block in and record maintenance work being performed on rooms.
