A few questions.
1. What bar code scanner do you recommend for your software?
2. Can I print an invoice for a returned product showing how much to refund the client?
3. I have a different discount amount for different items, how do I do this?

Thanks
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for the post.

1) Just about any generic barcode scanner can be used with iMagic Inventory. I recently put together an example list of scanners on the site which you may find helpful:
https://www.imagicinventorysoftware.com/InventoryBarcodeScanners

2) You'd probably want the Custom Invoice for this, then you could include whatever details you are wanting. We can also create a new pre-defined invoice if you would prefer. But for a custom invoice you'd want to 'tags', these are then replaced with the details when the invoice is created. You can find a list of the available ones here:
http://support.imagicsoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=457

Instructions on creating a Custom Invoice can be found here:
https://www.imagicinventorysoftware.com/InventoryFAQ#custominvoice

3) There are several ways of creating discounts. If the discount amount is the same, but different for each item, then I would suggest creating a new 'Price List' (Configure > Multiple Item Pricing). You could call this something like 'Discount Price' and select it when you are wanting to apply it. You can also have the system work out a discount automatically based on the purchase price.

Regards, John
