Can i make a one time repair entry without a reoccuring date or milage? I just want to log the repair one time and not have it tell me it needs to be done again at a certian milage or time frame.
Thanks |

some help your forums are. This damn software keeps crashing resulting in all data lost.
Happened 3 times now.
Does anyone else have this problem? |

Hi Futs,
Sorry for the delay in replying it looks like the support website was having issues for a period.
To answer your initial question, yes you'd want to add an "unscheduled service" for a one off repair. Then it will simply be scheduled once and not repeat.
I'm not aware of any bugs in the current version. Can you send in an Error Report either directly online or via email?

If you select Help/About what version does it say?
Are you able to post in the Error Report?

it wont even let me in now. Going to have to reload the software and start over again.
once i do this, will i be able to back date the dates or will it only let me start at the date the software was loaded?
It was woking fine untill i made a one time repair and entered zero as the milage. it seems the program doesnt like zeros entered. Thats when everything went south. I cant figure out how to make a one time repair without a reoccuring for a repair. |

Make sure you install the v1.19 update as this deals with the "0 distance/occurrence" issue. To get this you can either download the full version again (I've just updated it) or download and install the update file from:
http://www.imagicsoft.com/users/iMF-v119-Update.exe
Note that this is an update file so please don't uninstall the previous version.
For adding non-recurring services you really want to add an "unscheduled service". To do that select Service List/Add Unscheduled Service from the main menu. This will avoid those issues altogether.
You can enter services in the past by changing the Service Start Date.
