Hi Jon,
I've just started to use the item group setup and found that you are unable to select the warehouse from which your stock comes from!
I was hoping that the default warehouse setting would lock that item to that warehouse (A/A Default).
When posting a item group to a new invoice the stock is taken from the secondary warehouse and not the default warehouse which is causing me some stock issues.
How do I set the group to come from the default warehouse.
All the inventory items are set to the default warehouse in there setup profile.

Hi Steve,

If you want the items to come from the Default Location then you'd just need to put the items into the Default Location. If they only exist there then they cannot be taken from anywhere else.

Internally iMagic Inventory will search for the Warehouse/Location combination that has enough stock in it to fulfil the order. Then it will take the first it finds and use that.

Hi Jon,

I have 2 locations set in the inventory item setup, one being the main default and another called 'cars' (as we sell from cars) the default location has the higher stock holding which should be selected.
Is it possible the change the location after it been posted to a invoice?

Hi Steve,

I'll add in an update to our list so it can take stock from the highest stock location.

At present to change the location of an ordered item you would need to remove the item and then add it back with the updated location.
