Well, I think I may have found a problem with the import process for Inventory.
I'm using SQL, v2.90.
When I import using the wizard, I don't have anything displayed on the Inventory screen. If I do a search, the items I've imported seem to be there. I opened up the dbo.Item table and noticed that all the ItemUnitID values were set to 0. Then I looked at the dbo.ItemUnit table and found that there is no ) ID value. If I manually change the ItemUnitID to 1 in the dbo.Item table, the item appears in the Inventory screen. Also, if I search for a invisible item, when I edit the item from the search window, no unit value is displayed. If I change the unit to some value from the dropdown list, the item appears.
I would suggest adding the unit to the import wizard (I have 44,000 items to import, I don't really like the idea of having to manually change each one and I'm not so sure of my T-SQL skills that I can script that). |

I've replied via email.
Just for reference it's worth checking the default value on that field.
