Jon,

The inventory screen allows filtering by category and the stock on hand report allows reporting of all inventory. Can the reports be filtered and sorted before printing?

Filters that provide the ability to sort AND print a report by category, sub-category, vendor, customer, etc.

We need to have the option to sort and print so we can provide a shipping manifest when inventory is delivered to a department.

Thanks

Jim

Hi Jim,

On which report do you want the sort and filtering option?

Regards, Jon

Jon,

The report that we would like sorting and filtering on is the Stock Level Report.

Thanks

Jim

Jon,

I've searched the support forum and found several requests for a sort / filter function when printing reports. I don't see any resolution other than exporting to Excel.

Is there any possible way you could add sort / filter functionality to a report within the database so I don't have to use external sources? I already use Excel and Crystal Reports for more sophisticated operations but a simple sort / filter option would make your system much easier to work with basic data on a day-to-day basis.

Thanks for your ongoing support.
